If you are new in Bahrain I would like to tell you about several good outdoor places to have a dinner.

Block 338 Adliya (17 710 338)

This is a wonderful garden, one of the largest open air seating areas in Bahrain where you can eat delicious food and listen to live music or comedy.

Open daily noon-2am .

La Fontaine

Hoora Avenue, Ras Ruman (17 230 123)

As you can guess in this place you can see a fountain with several tables around it. Very romantic. Excellent food. Friendly and nice staff.

Open Tue-Sun 11.30am-2.30pm and 6.30pm-10.30pm.

Cocoís

Adliya (17 716 512)

Cheap and cheerful place in the heart of Adliya. Very popular place, unfortunately you can not book a table here. Large main course coming in at about BD5 or under. Really good food.  However, be aware to wait for your dinner for a while.

Open daily 10am-midnight.

La Mer

Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa (17 636 363)

Fantastic seafood selection and good wine. Beautiful place.

Open daily 7pm-11pm .

Masso

Adliya (17 721 061)

A terrace and two private gardens where you can chill out with pals and dine on the restaurantís excellent fare or take your pick from the extensive weekend brunch menu.

Open daily noon-3pm and 7pm-2am.

Pizza Express

The Lagoon, Amwaj (16 010 524)

One of the best spots on The Lagoon, great food and good for families as the kids can get involved with choosing their toppings and helping to create their own pies. This is one of the UKís top pizza brands and we were a little concerned it would not travel well but, thankfully, our fears were ungrounded and adding the gorgeous setting of The Lagoon gives it a certain something that Luton just canít match.

Open Sun-Wed 11am-11pm, Thu-Sat 11am-11.30pm.

Saffron

Riffa Call (66 373 728)

Simple food in a stunning setting which is what this local-grown favorite does best.

The Meat Co

Adliya (17 742 080)

Definitely not a cheap. Food is always great . It is highly recommended for birthdays (as long as the celebrantís not shy), when youíll be treated to traditional South African songs and dancing accompanied by the staff making lots of noise on pots, pans and pretty much anything else they can get their hands on and encouraging all the other diners to join in!

Open Sat-Wed 12.30pm-3.30pm and 7pm-11.30pm, Thu-Fri 12.30pm-midnight .

Tian

Adliya (17 717 080)

The restaurant is inside but you can eat on the open air on the rooftop, which is a very cool space that would grace the best of city-centre bars and lofts. The menu is extensive but you can have light bites and they also do a good bruch selection.

Open daily noon-3pm, 7pm-midnight.

Trader Vicís

Ritz-Carlton Bahrain (17 586 555)

The outdoor terrace is one of Bahrainís favourite places to see. Mixed drinks and not bad food.

Open daily 7pm-midnight .
