My name is Jorel. I have tentatively accepted a one year job in Bahrain. I will bring my wife and child with me once I get settled. I saw a really nice post describing different areas in which to live. Based off of that post alone by Cleo, I feel like Juffair might be the area that I start my search with.

I want to start researching different companies to work with referencing housing and a vehicle. Any input from you ladies and gentlemen would be extremely appreciated.

I intend to spend at most BHD 500 for all aspects of the housing.

Thank you, all.

Cleo,

Thank you, very much!

I've already been searching those websites for housing. What a great resource. I am going to lease a vehicle for the year, preferably a larger car or mid sized SUV.

There are many car rent services in Bahrain, like
http://www.avisbahrain.com/
http://www.sixt.com/car-rental/bahrain/
https://www.europcar.com/location/bahrain
http://www.avenuebahrain.com/

But they mostly provide a car for a short period. I am sure you can find a good offer for one year renting.

I think many people are asking about the perfect spot to live in Bahrain, I have seen few good linked mentioned above that sell and rent properties but non have provided a well written advice.

I think Juffair is a suitable place since its in the middle of the country and you can reach the main places around in less than 15 mins mostly.

My colleague have told me that he have good a brand new flat from a company called Weetas for 325 BD. This was listed on their website for 375 but he secured a deal for less.

Maybe this is an option check it out.
