A three-month programme targeting University of Bahrain (UoB) law students concluded this week.

The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) held the "Legal Clinic" in cooperation with the university, lining up fourteen sessions which introduced law students to the SCW-led legal services which are provided via the Woman Support and Information Centre.

The participants were training on receiving demands and requests, studying complaints, writing legal memos and ensuring the follow-up with high-level executive authorities.

The students had the opportunity to get first-hand information on the inception of the council, prerogatives, departments and work mechanisms focusing particularly on the Bahrain National Woman Development 2013-2022.
